TERAPLAN-LOGISTIC SOFTWARE

The software is designed to minimize the costs associated with loading/unloading, transportation, rental and storage of rolling stock.

The solution helps determine how and when empty rolling stock needs to be moved to cover needs in different regions; calculate the required amount of empty rolling stock, in each location, in a particular period. And also determine where and when it is necessary to rent and return rolling stock.

Our solution involves the consolidation of input data (characteristics and deployment of rolling stock, information on departure/arrival points (terminals), cost characteristics of movements, data on orders assigned for execution, etc.) on the basis of which movements (transfers) are optimized taking into account cost data. The result is the optimal plan of movements (transfers) of rolling stock.
